Hi I'm Kirsty, I am an Intuitive eating specialist and Registered Dietitian, with lived experience of yo-yo dieting and falling victim to sucky diet culture.

After a rocky relationship with food that followed me to university, I re-trained myself

to trust myself around (all) food again. 

 

I don't spend every minute obsessing over food, or how much I weigh.

 

My value is much more than the number on the scales and yours is too!

 

Because I have seen first-hand the impact food freedom has had on my life as well as all my clients, and this is why I am so passionate about sharing this knowledge and expertise with you in a brand new format!

  • Is this the same as 1 :1 coaching?
    The School of Food Freedom™ differs from 1:1 coaching because you will belong to a tribe of people with similar beliefs and goals as you. You will gain peer support as you work through problems and challenges and will be able to share your experiences with others. Plus it has the added benefit of being a lower investment compared to 1:1 coaching.
  • Is this a weight loss group?
    No. The School of Food Freedom® Bitesize Guide to Intuitive Eating is weight inclusive, meaning you are welcome as you are with no need to change. Weight loss diets tend to be problematic with research showing that any weight lost is typically regained within 1-5 years. Weight cycling and yo-yo dieting has been shown to be more detrimental to physical and mental health so we are not about that vibe. Your weight may not change, it could go up or down. The School of Food Freedom® approach is to support you to tune into your body’s signals around foods and begin to break down the barriers and any unhelpful habits. We focus on self-compassion, self-care and acceptance because you are wonderful the way you are.
  • How is The School of Food Freedom™ different?
    As a small community of like-minded humans we will be travelling the same path together. The community aspect of School of Food Freedom™ is different to any of Kirsty's other offerings because you can share your experience with others.
  • How many people will be on the program?
    This program is designed to serve a small number of people so that you have ample time to ask questions and receive answers during the sessions and to get to know one another. The maximum number of people in this cohort is 8.
  • Can I book in additional 1:1 sessions with you during the program?
    Of course you can! There is no pressure to do this though as you will have weekly opportunities to ask questions, plus access to the Facebook group. Sometimes tricky topics can surface that need a bit more TLC and support. If there is something you are stuck on as we go along and you wish to, you are welcome to book in for a 1:1 call. As an additional, any 1:1 consultations that are booked will be at a special price for the duration of the program.
  • If I miss a live coaching call, can I catch up on the replay?
    Of course you can – the session recordings will be held on Zoom and will be posted in our private Facebook group for you to catch up on for the duration of the course.
